As my graduation project, I will perform a final violin concert, playing pieces by Schumann, Dvorak, Haydn, Bach, and Falla. I chose these pieces because they will make me feel comfortable on the stage and because they are pieces I love. With these pieces, I will show a bit of my character and personality and let the public know more about me as a person and musician.

Artist statement

I am a classical violinist from Spain with a huge passion for romantic pieces, Spanish pieces, and slow movements. I give my personal interpretative style while still respecting the original style of the piece.

Ambitions

I will pursue my Master's studies related to music education and music Pedagogy. My goal is to be a music teacher and show my students all the knowledge I have and how music can change their lives.

Learned during the studies

I discovered my passion, teaching. I didn't want to be a teacher when I arrived at the HKU Conservatorium, but with subjects such as Methodology and Pedagogy and the internship, I discovered that teaching is what I want to do.

Musical Phrasing in Violin “How can I create long phrasing in Schumann Fantasiestucke?”

In this artistic research, you can learn how important it is to know your body and breathing. You can also learn how important it is to sing to understand the music, where the phrases end, and how the phrases work.

Internship at the ISU

Thanks to the Conservatorium, I started an internship at the ISU, helping the music teachers in their normal music subjects and in school projects, such as the orchestra project, where kids who just started playing the instrument learn how an orchestra works and play together.
