When we have conversations about big companies collecting our personal data on the internet, most people say that they do not mind since they have nothing to hide. But even if you have nothing to hide, as an individual you have a lot to protect.
With my interactive installation 'wait, what?' you will get in touch with data collecting machines. While you are 'just playing a game' the installation will collect your information and defines interesting conclusions. Are you curious if 'wait, what?' knows anything about you?
- The interactive part will be online again during DDW2020. Want to see the livestream and interact before that time, please reach out to me and I will put it back on for you -
'wait, what?' consists out of a physical and an online part. The audience can interact with the physical installation at Kapitaal in Utrecht on the 11th and 12th of September 2020. On this page you can interact with the online part of the installation and influence the physical part of the online installation that's located at Kapitaal Utrecht. Via the Jitsi livestream above you can see what impact your online actions can have in the real world.
