Instead of focusing of owning a motorcycle and with that, a brand.
It puts the emphasis on the joy of building and enjoying the ride, and with that we become one with the machine.
It’s a heavy work that shows damage, character, Ugliness and pain yet at the same time it will show growth, beauty, purpose and joy.
Artist statement
Drawing inspiration from the mechanical intricacies of machines and vehicles, Jason Zaat explores the intersection between human emotion and industrial landscapes. Working primarily with steel and other industrial materials, his art serves as a conduit for the dialogue between humanity and technology.
Each piece reflects the resilience and adaptability of the human spirit within the context of the mechanical world. Through the manipulation of steel, polyester, concrete, and other materials, He invites viewers to contemplate the intricate dance between man and machine.
Ultimately, the art celebrates human ingenuity and the enduring spirit of innovation, fostering curiosity and introspection. By capturing the essence of our symbiotic relationship with technology, he seeks to inspire a deeper appreciation for the beauty found in the intersection of art and industry.
Ambities
I want to get more experience in the work field. After that I would like to have my own practice and balance my life as a mechanic with making artworks.
