Act 1: Invite a random visitor for a walk outside of BAK, and share headphones that play the same song. When one song ends the participant will play a song to me in return.

Act 2: Invite a visitor to wear hat that resembles a Dutch house. I also wear another house hat. Then I encourage the participant to sing and repeat part of a song that he/she likes, while I will be playing drums to that song loop.

Artist statement

Constantly doubting and questioning social norms, power structures and resource distributions. And seeking for ways to stay true to my feelings in the vortex of ideologies. Tools: satire, humor, juxtapositions, improvisation. At the end of the day, it's the conflict between individual desires and the public formalities. In the gap between maybe I can search for what's called freedom.

Ambitions

I wish our societies can slow down a bit, be more curious and patient with people around us... What is a "good" competition? I hope I can get back to collaborative music projects and even get an art spacing running. I want money. I want to be a handyman. I want to live in a place that I can feel more humans than laws.

Learned during the studies

That I am less adaptive than I thought. I found it difficult for me to fit in or feel motivated to participate in the art discourses in the Netherlands.
